BOXPARK Camden is open: what to eat, drink and do

BOXPARK Camden opened on Camden High Street in September 2024, taking over the former Buck Street Market site beside Camden Town station. It is not one restaurant or one market stall: food counters share the three-floor site with bars, independent shops, a rooftop terrace and an events programme.

The choice can look like a lot when everyone in a group wants something different. That is also the point. These are the 15 food and drink traders currently listed on Vouch, grouped by what you might actually be looking for.

Quick lunch without a committee meeting

Birria Taco serves crisp corn tortillas packed with slow-cooked beef and cheese, with consommé for dipping. Elia Greek Street Food does chicken, lamb, halloumi and falafel in wraps and boxes. Tawook W Bass builds Lebanese chicken sandwiches with fries, coleslaw, pickles and plenty of toum, while SushiDog makes large sushi rolls, bowls and salads to order.

Comfort food and deliberate excess

Black Bear Burger is the straightforward burger choice, centred on dry-aged British beef and scratch-made sauces. Dogma takes the same maximal approach to beef hot dogs and loaded fries. Yorkshire Burrito wraps a roast dinner, potatoes, stuffing and gravy inside a giant Yorkshire pudding; Poptata makes fries the main event; and Ocean Delight covers fish, chips and seafood.

Dumplings, noodles and warmer spice

Jhol Momo specialises in Nepalese dumplings, either steamed in spiced broth or fried and served with achar. SOKA has a fully halal pan-Asian menu of hand-pulled biang biang noodles, bao, katsu and crispy momos. Pho Kae Noodle Bar moves across noodles, rice, curries and fried chicken, while Uncle Steve brings Malaysian fusion bowls and sauces into the mix.

Coffee and something sweet

Glass Coffee is the specialist coffee stop, with pastries and traceable sourcing. Floopy handles dessert: rolled ice cream made in front of you, bubble tea, milkshakes and bubble waffles.

What is there beyond the food?

BOXPARK runs bars across the site, with beer, wine, cocktails and table ordering by QR code. Its Camden events programme includes live music, DJs, quizzes, comedy and major sports screenings. There are independent retail units too, covering vintage clothing, jewellery, accessories, crafts, collectables and souvenirs.

The official trader directory currently marks Casa Bat'bout as coming soon. We have left it out of the Vouch index until it is confirmed open, rather than ask people to review somewhere they cannot yet visit.

Before you go

BOXPARK Camden is at 192–198 Camden High Street, NW1 8QP, around a minute from Camden Town Underground station. The venue currently lists opening hours of 9am to 11pm every day, although individual kitchen and shop hours can differ. The site has a lift between floors, disabled toilets and baby-changing facilities; well-behaved dogs are allowed on leads. Many events are free, but advance registration is recommended.
